Program Intern

Summer Symposium Program Interns will assist AHR staff during the duration of the program, including leading and supervising a small group of students through a project, potentially create and deliver a presentation on a relevant topic, and assist in icebreaker activities and morning and afternoon debriefs with the students.

Communications and Social Media Intern

The Communications and Social Media Intern will primarily assist the AHR Communications Director with photography, videography, and social media posting through the duration of the Summer Symposium.

​All interns must:
  • be available for the duration of the Summer Symposium and for several meetings before and after the program
  • be a current undergraduate student
  • have a basic understanding of human rights, social justice, white supremacy, intersectionality, and feminism
  • previous Summer Symposium participants are preferred but not required
*All prospective interns must apply, including those who interned in prior years.*
