About SUMMER SYMPOSIUM

The Academy's Summer Symposium provides students the opportunity to hear internationally-known human rights experts, take part in hands-on activities and field trips, and learn the skills they need to make an impact on the community, nation, and world.

Open to any incoming 9th grader through graduating senior, the program is held for five days in mid-July. Created in 2008 by award-winning, nationally-recognized educators and co-sponsored by Erie 1 BOCES, the Symposium provides its participants with the inspiration and tools to become the leaders that they were born to be.
